Synopsis

Mid-City Dreamers is a live-action musical drama about the Dreamers — Damian Parker, Ray Johansson and Melody Dawes — a Mid-City group whose talent was never the question. What pulls them apart is the offer every group eventually gets: the chance for one of them to go it alone.

Told across nine years and a single house party that changes everything, the film follows Lisa, an aspiring manager who never quite broke through, and Damian, the rapper she met once and never forgot. When their paths cross again, the future they almost had feels close enough to touch.
